Austrian Horse Artillery

A couple of batteries of Austrian horse artillery - Essex miniatures.

Bavarian Line Infantry

Next up is the first battalion of the Bavarian 5th regiment of the line, resplendent in their sky blue uniforms with pink facings.  The figures are Essex with Chariot officer/standard bearer/drummer and the flag is from Warflag.

Bavarian Light Infantry

Another Bavarian Light Infantry battalion - this time the first battalion of the 2nd 'Salern' Light Infantry. The officer and soldiers are Essex miniatures; the drummer and standard bearer from Chariot Miniatures.

The Second Battalion of the Bavarian 4th 'Salern' Line Infantry Regiment.  The drummer and officer figures are from Chariot Miniatures, the rank and file from Essex Miniatures.

Bavarian Light Infantry

Further building up my Bavarian division for the Battle of Eckmuhl in 1809, this battalion is from the 1st Light Infantry Regiment which was part of Baron Rechberg's Brigade.  The 15mm figures are from Essex, with the officer and drummer from Chariot Miniatures.  The flag is downloaded from warflag.com.

Bavarian Foot and Horse Artillery

The orders of battle for the Bavarian Divisions in the Eckmuhl campaign call for 2 foot batteries and 1 horse battery per Division in the Shako ruleset.  I bought these Essex Miniatures figures at the Colours show in Newbury in September.

Bavarian Chevaux Legers

The first regiment of Bavarian cavalry painted - in the uniforms of the 1st Chevaux-Legers (Light Cavalry), the 'Kronprinz' Regiment - ready for the Battle of Eckmuhl.  I'm not actually sure that this Regiment carried a standard into battle but I've included one with artistic licence.  The 15mm figures are by Essex, the standard from warflag.com.
